NCCR Dogs of the week.
The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue has some wonderful black dogs currently available, both big and small. Dyson is guessed to be a young Shepherd mix; he’s a happy guy and seems to be dog friendly. Nugget and Peanut are part of a group of five dogs that recently arrived, probably dumped by a breeder; they appear to be Pomeranian Chihuahuas. They are all very sweet, and they will need some training; their lives probably have not been the best. NCCR is located at 7540 N. Gale St. in Westfield and is open from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday or by appointment. Many of the dogs are online at www.caninerescue.org.
